Yorkshireman David Kaye started his wrestling career under the expert tuition of one of wrestling's greatest promoters, Cyril Knowles. David, the older brother of Tony Kaye, wrestled his way into a very active career on the British circuits, competing all over England, Scotland and Wales in the company of the likes of Les Kellett, Klondyke Bill, Farmer Johnny Allen and TV's Jackie Pallo & his son "Jnr". During the "holiday camp run", he regularly travelled around two thousand miles per week. Renowned for his skill as a wrestler, David Kaye would also step in to referee when needed.

In his seventies, speaking at a wrestlers' reunion in  June 2010, David Kaye said he was enjoying life to the full, and sent all new wrestlers in the game the best wishes possible.
